Photobooth fun

Posted by Kevin on December 29th, 2007

So we rolled out this new feature for snap | creative, we set up a photobooth for Jon and Michelle’s wedding last week and we totally had a blast. This is a great example of the kind of fun you can have with a photobooth option added to your wedding coverage.

Love awaits

Posted by Kevin on September 9th, 2007

They sit together on the couch, a foot and a half between the two of them, a lovely young couple.

How long have you two been together? I ask.

They look at each other. We’re just friends right now.

I couldn’t hide my surprise.

I just got out of a long relationship, she says.

But you’ve proposed to her? I asked him. He nods.

He’s head over heels for you, I say to her.

She laughs, then tells me she’s 25, and six years older than him.

I look at him, boyish, fearless. I look at her, and finally notice the age in her eyes.

You have to be– I started to say.

Careful?

I smile, he’s in good hands.

In the corner, love awaits. I can almost see it, against all odds, this beautiful, original, fearless love.

The Feast of Love

Posted by Kevin on July 17th, 2007

“Every relationship has at least one really good day. What I mean is, no matter how sour things go, there’s always that one day. That day is always in your possession. That’s the day you remember. You get old and you think: well, at least I had that day. it happened once. You think all the variables might just line up again. But they don’t. Not always. I once talked to a woman who said, “Yeah, that’s the day we had an angel around.” - Charles Baxter, The Feast of Love.

My favorite book is going to be a movie.

Our romantical shot of the day.

The ladies gather for the bouquet toss. Good hustle, though I’d like to see more boxing out.

Ritchie with his youth group kids. It’s like seeing the future.

More to come as I recover from the day.

Fun! I want an iPhone, but it’s extra cool to see this on the ad as well.

Oh yeah, it showing the New York Times website, and the kids are holding a sign saying "Chien-Ming Wang, the light of Taiwan."
